When it comes to Policing on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire’s force usually covers the entire Island.

But for the past three months though a number of new Police vehicles have been spotted marked up with ‘Vectis Police’ logo’s.

Of course they’re not real police cars, just prop vehicles brought in to appear in the new Britbox drama ‘The Beast Must die’ that’s been filming on the Island.

Vectis is actually the Roman name for the Isle of Wight, and can be still seen on Island busses run by Southern Vectis.
