Ventnor, with its unique microclimate, is home to this Botanic Gardens, rich in sub-tropical plants and flowers and a contemporary café shop at its centre. Located in the beautiful undercliff region of St Lawrence close to the Victorian town of Ventnor, it is also situated near to pebbled coves, woodland, downland hills, atmospheric houses and miles of coastline. The coast in this area runs from Ventnor to the picturesque Steephill Cove just below the Gardens, and along to the historic smuggler's coves of Niton and the lighthouse at St Catherine's.
