We recently hosted a film shoot for Matt Craufurd, a Location Manager more used to working on James Bond or the Men in Black movies. He’d struggled to get access to a large ship to film a short film called Travel Socks, which was set during the Covid lockdown. Filmwight managed to negotiate access to Wightlink’s vessel Victoria of Wight and the crew managed to film sequences onboard during six forty five minutes crossings of the Solent. During those trips we asked Matt what he thought of the Isle of Wight as a filming location.
